Abstract
KM.Mentari Javelin (Bayplan) Optimalisasion by PT. Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia The planning of loading containers (bayplan) carried out by ships that berth at PT. BJTI is very important to the stability of the ship which is used as a safety guideline during sailing. It should be noted that container loading planning (bayplan) is because this type of load is not of the same weight, therefore during the loading process we must pay attention to the stability of the vessel. The purpose of this activity is to know aspects of cargo planning to obtain good ship stability, to find out the container loading plan, and to find out the stability of the container-loaded vessel, as an effort to avoid Broken Stowage which is caused and by supervising container loading according to Bayplan so that the load does not cause the tilt of the ship. The data collection method used is the Field Research Method while the data collection techniques are direct review or observation, interview technique, Documentation Method, Library research method. Results of the Writing Work Optimizing the Container Plans (Bayplan) Plans on the Stability of KM. Mentari Javelin at PT. Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia is successfully carried out well and every time carrying out the loading process always looks at the cargo data and the weight of the cargo so that the cargo arrangement runs smoothly and safely against the vessels that will load the container.
