Abstract
Occupational safety and health are important in improving employee productivity. In improving the safety and health of the company must be able to know the factors that can affect safety and health work. These factors include work environment, individual characteristics and commitment to safety and health work Human resources in the form of employees for the company is an asset, as well as employees of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Tanjung Emas Branch Semarang, is a factor that plays an important role in achieving company goals. These factors should be considered by the leadership so that safety and health can be optimal. In this research will be analyzed three research variables namely Work environment, individual characteristics and Commitment as independent variable affecting the dependent variable that is occupational safety and health. The formulation of the problem of research objectives and hypotheses in this study is to analyze the positive and significant influence partially between independent variables namely work environment, individual characteristics and commitment to the dependent variable of occupational safety and health. In this research object taken is employees of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Branch Tanjung Emas Semarang. Data sources include primary data and secondary data. The sample in this study is 120 respondents who are employees of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Branch Tanjung Emas Semarang. Data collection was done using questionnaire method. The technique of data analysis is multiple linear regression. The result of multiple linear regression equation shows that there is a positive influence partially between work environment to occupational health and safety t arithmetic (4,376)> t table (1,98063), Individual Characteristics to occupational health and safety t arithmetic (2.039)> t table ( 1.98063), commitment to occupational safety and health t arithmetic (4.852)> t table (1, 98063).
