Abstract

Sea water pollution due to oil spills often occurs. Many things are the cause such as the explosion of offshore oil platforms. Tanker accidents, offshore buildings and littering . oil spills are one type of pollution whose effects are quite large in the long term. Nowadays ship recycling is considered as the best solution to obsolete ships MT. ASSUMI Through recycling-process the waste material becomes a new product and can involved the supply chain market again. The ship-recycling industry should provide the best methods for docking, cutting, de-coating, and material handling by utilizing the best engineering practices to deliver products with good quality.The development of a ship-recycling yard towards green ship-recycling yards can be achieved by providing the necessary facilities, technology updates and environmentally-friendly recycling process in accordance to national and international regulations. The decision-making method used in this study . For the applicable law and regulate for the problem of overcoming oil spill on the ship. Includes procedures for prevention.
