Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, motivation, work environment, and discipline on the performance of employees of the Department of Transportation of Batang Regency. This study explains the factors that affect employee performance. These factors are leadership, motivation, work environment and discipline. The data used in this research is the primary data obtained from the questionnaires distributed by the employees of Batang District Transportation Department. The object of this research was conducted at Batang Regency Transportation Department. The population in this study are employees of the Department of Transportation Batang District and sampling using Sampling Quota techniques that produce a sample amounted to 60 respondents. Data analysis techniques used to solve problem problems in this research is to use multiple linear regression analysis include: validity and reliability test, classical assumption test, hypothesis testing through t test, and coefficient of determination analysis (R2). Based on the analysis, we get the regression equation as follows: Y = -0,394+ 0,255X1+0,261X2+0,253X3+0,349X4+µ Cooefficientsi correlation adjusted R square in research is 0,672 where the value of that side of the relation between variables free variable bound is of 67,2%. The testing of hypotheses use test t show thst all four variable free that in discipline (X1), motivation (X2), Leadership (X3), and work environment (X4) subjects proven have had a positive impact and significant to affect variable bound namely traffic accident. In test the coefficients determination (R Square) the value adjusted R Square of 0,649 it means 64,9% variation variable Employee performance can be explained by independent variables Discipline, motivation, leadership, and work environment. While the rest those are 35,1% explained by the others out variable the treatment. Keywords: employee performance, discipline, motivation, Leadership, work environment
