Abstract
Loading and Unloading Maintenance Routines in MT. Raka Surya II Guna Streamlining Loading and Unloading Activities Indonesia is an archipelagic country that cannot be separated from commercial shipping. In carrying out shipping activities, several things are needed, one of which is loading and unloading activities to support these activities, it is necessary to carry out routine maintenance of the loading equipment. In connection with the maintenance of the loading and unloading equipment there are several parts that need to be considered such as pumps, valves and pipes. Among the three loading devices have different functions, the pump is a tool to move a liquid from one place to another, the valve also has a function as a regulator, controller and direction of the flow rate by opening, closing or opening part of the flow and finally the pipe functions as means for channeling liquid, gas or vapor fluid from one place to another. The three tools must get proper care so that they can always be ready to be used, if the maintenance routine in the tool is not implemented it will cause obstacles in loading and unloading activities. To find out some factors and how important the loading and unloading maintenance routines are, there are several ways that can be applied, for example by keeping them from rust, repairing paint that starts to fade, changing suction filters every month and giving bearing lubricating oil. These steps can be used to maintain the quality of loading and unloading equipment to maintain its usability. The data collection method used is field writing that uses observation techniques and interview techniques and documentation methods. The results of this paper can be carried out in accordance with the procedures and procedures that apply.
