Abstract
Efforts to Optimize the Safeguarding of Container Cargo (Scuring Cargo) in Reducing Load Damage in MV Ships. Tanto Bersinar Security optimization is one of the important factors in human life. Theft, robbery and even fires are things that are not liked by all human beings, because they can claim lives and property. Safeguarding the cargo on container ships must receive special attention, because if ignored, there will be many casualties. Thus scuring cargo is a guide in the loading and unloading process so as not to cause various problems. In realizing effective and safe loading planning during the loading and unloading process, it must first know the theory and practice of the types of cargo, the nature and quality of the cargo. Maintenance of cargo, use of loading and unloading equipment and provisions concerning ship safety and cargo. The method used in compiling this scientific rich is library writing and field writing methods. Arranging cargo security must also pay attention to the principles of cargo. By paying attention to the principle of cargo security, so that loading and unloading can be carried out appropriately, regularly and systematically which will create an efficient and effective loading and unloading process in using time and costs. Optimization of cargo security is what determines ship shipping safety in carrying cargo from one port to another. Keywords: Safeguarding cargo, effectiveness, shipping safety.
