Abstract
Marine transportation is still a major means of distributing various types of goods from one place to anothe discharge in port. Development in Indonesia is very rapidly in recent years, one of them is the construction of a steam power plant located in Batang, Central Java. Construction materials for construction for The power plants vary in size. Ranging from small to large. The value of the construction goods is not cheap and needs a good protection so that the goods can get to the destination safely. PT. Arpeni Pratama OCEAN LINE is one of the companies that incorporated in PLTU Batang development project. One of the responsibilities of this company is to provide good cargo protection during the loading of construction materials on barges. Stowing and selecting a payload method is essential, so that items can be safely deliver to the construction site. Which is not less Important is the efficiency in procedure discharge. One way that is proven to be efficient and safe is to use a lashing belt. The use of lashing belt in this project proved to be very safe and did not cause any obstacles when delivering process, Cargo is deliver safely.
