Abstract
EMKL is a freight service by sea to connect one place to another. in the system of responsibility that is used EMKL is Tackle to Tackle the basis of the calculation used in accordance with the existing agreement in terms of compensation calculated based on the value of the goods. Currently shipping large quantities of goods is only normally done by sea. The role of EMKL in the export of goods is also very important in order to facilitate various types of shipments to get shipping results that do not make a loss for each party concerned. The author uses several methods used, namely interviews, observation, document study, and literature study In the process of shipping goods, of course there are problems such as loss or damage so the sender of goods requires responsibility from EMKL during shipping so that there is no damage or loss between the sender and the recipient of the goods. EMKL's responsibility in the goods sender's agreement because it plays a very important role in maintaining the shipment when it is exported abroad in a large form.
