Abstract
Semarang Container Terminal is a state company enganged in the activity of loading and unloading service providers. The operational process of the service system for loading and unloading of goods at the container terminal starts from the ship docked, the process of loading and unloading of goods from or the ship until the ship leaves the port and the process of accumulation of goods until the delivery of goods. Webaccess is an application of information technology that is needed and the purpose of the webaccess itself is that the loading and unloadine service activities and be present quickly, efficiently, and transparently, because it can beaccesed by service user or goods owners. The purpose of this paper is to add insight into the use Webaccess and also procedures for handling container damage. The method used in the search for information for the prepareation of this paper by interviewing expert resources working in the field in order to obtain actual and accurated information, besides that it also uses the method of dirrect observation of the process of handling container damage. By using the two methods, you can obtain information about container damage handling service and also data obtained in accordance with semarang container terminal service data for container damage management activities. The result can be obtained from the preparation of this paper that can find out the use Webacces application as a means of monitoring shipping activities, as well as a medium for handling container damage.
