Abstract

The shipping design procedure is the main process undertaken prior to the voyage. The design is how to do something to achieve various goals that benefit a lot for those who do someone or a group of people. Then the meaning of the voyage is to voyage from one place to another safely and efficiently. The procedure and mechanism of shipping plan design passes several stages The first stage is, the preparation phase where we must collect data about ships, navigation aids, communication tools, machines, navigation information and route information. The second stage is the route selection stage that is, taking into account factors from within and from outside the vessel. The third stage is the planning stage of navigation. And the last stage is the stage of implementation and monitoring. In addition, before making a shipping plan first drawn maps ranging from the port of departure to the port arrived. In addition to having to prepare other electronic navigation tools, so as not to cause things - things that become obstacles to the voyage. In addition to the electronic navigation system works optimally and efficiently. Therefore, the importance of shipping draft procedures for each vessel that intends to engage in inter-island voyages is to avoid any hazards that may result in accidents.
