Abstract

In the process of loading and unloading activities, especially cargo timber logs should be carried out as well as possible, it requires careful preparation, both of the ships and the shore. Basically handling barriers aims to address the problem to be solved properly during the process of unloading the author muat.Permasalahan take here is the resistance what happens during the process of loading and unloading the logs? Efforts are to be implemented to overcome the obstacles that arise during the process of unloading the ship? The purpose of this study to the knowledge of the load and unload cargo from and onto the ship in such a way in order to materialize the five principles of good loading. Loading and unloading is an activity cruise load or unload a cargo from the dock, barge, truck into the hold or deck, USING crane ship and ashore or by means of unloading, where goods are transferred to and from the ship. Data management method used is descriptive method, the author tries to observe so often the case on board, with respect to the current techniques of loading and unloading the logs. In this penelitiaan chief mate active role in preparing for the loading and unloading in particular tool - a tool loading and unloading cargo, especially wire, block and derrick.
