Abstract

Operations for Handling Load Unloading Flow in Container at PT. Bahtera Setia Semarang Judging from the Definition of Loading, Documents, Procedures Loading and unloading activities are activities to unload goods from the ship using a crane and ship slings to the nearest land on the edge of the ship, which is commonly called a dock, then from the dock using a truck, forklift or stroller inserted and arranged into the nearest warehouse appointed by the port syahbandar. Documents, in each container movement, since containers are unloaded from the ship to the container loaded onto the ship must have documents that explain the condition of the container. With the aim of maintaining the security of goods in containers and supporting documents that are very important for filing claims for goods that arise as a result of shipping goods with containers. The process procedure in handling the loading and unloading flow of containers that has been determined by international standards in the shipping company, such as submitting a copy of the document. After obtaining approval and signature from the General Manager, the finance department makes the company master number based on the completeness of the document data, then shipping service users can connect and work together in container terminals and are fully responsible for all container service request transactions. The entire series of container operational activities is integrated into a container service system application so that service users can be easier, faster and more efficient.
