Abstract
In this paper, the author gives the title "Optimizing of Discharge and loading Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at the MT. JUNEYAO MARU VI to support a better ships operations". With the aim to determine the urgency of discharge and loading, to know what solutions to improve the smooth operation of the ship so as not to interfere with the activity lainnya.hambatan that occur, such as an accident, for example, can be caused by human factors and equipment that can cause delays in other activities such as discharge activity and loading.Lack of discipline and awareness of the crew on the activities of discharge and loading, do not understand the crew about safety, lack of understanding of the crew's new ride, lack of supervision of the ship's officers to the crew at work, lack of provision of advice from officers to the crew about the importance of activities those affecting the smooth discharge and loading of other activities such as discharge and loading process. So the cooperation between officers and crew and using by guidance given to the crew of officers is expected to optimize the discharge and loading to the better operation of the ship.In writing this paper provides conclusions and suggestions should be carried out by the vessel in which the officers and crew to comply with the rules on the activities of loading and unloading so that problem does not occur so that the vessel can operate completely.
