Abstract
Cause of the leak in the hull of a lot. For example due to hard impact with the dock hull, collision with another ship. Ran aground on the reef, and also due to corrosion.knowledge of corrosion for the crew who worked on the boat and float on sea water can accelerate the rate of corrosion on steel metal in the ship, as a main ingredient shipbuilding, with the continous grind rust steel hull can cause leaks in the hull , causing water to enter and damage the cargo hold as well as the possibility that the worst that can sink ships . If it happens danger of a leak in the hull like that then we as the crew had to act fast and responsive in tackling leaks as a safety precaution, especially for the crew and the vessel and cargo in general. Measures to cope with leaks can be done with steel and cementing Prop methods but these actions only for a while, after the situation has been improved and can be done further action by welding new or replacement plate with a filling plate. With rapid and appropriate action can be resolved leaks. Keywords: corrosion , leakage of the hull , leakage prevention .
