Abstract
Improvement of Ship Ship Supervision for Publishing Sail Approval Letter (SPB) at Tanjungpinang Port Authority Class II Tanjungpinang seaworthiness Issuance of sailing approval letter so that it can be carried out according to applicable procedures according to the minister of transportation regulations Number: PM 82 of 2014 concerning procedures for issuing sailing approval letters. The issuance of a sailing approval letter is a supervisory activity carried out by the seahband on ships that will sail based on a letter from the captain. In ship safety checks or in this case the inspection of ship's sea worthiness, the transportation must check the physical condition of the ship directly, ensure the accuracy / truth of reports from the company / ship. So that it is expected that with the function of inspection, supervision / control can build understanding / attention from the company to complete the ship according to the requirements in the applicable regulations. Many things that can be done by Syahbandar as a mandatory task in the field of surveillance and safety of shipping, giving reprimand, direction, and guidance even processing according to the laws of a company / ship. The feasibility of the ship's sea is the condition of the ship that meets the requirements of ship safety, prevention of water pollution from ships, manning, loading lines, ship crew welfare and passenger health, ship legal status, safety management and prevention of ship pollution, and ship security management to sail on certain waters. The obligation to have a sailing approval letter is excluded for: warships and / or state ships / government ships as long as they are not used for commercial activities. Sailing approval letter is valid 24 hours (twenty four) hours from the time of issuance and can only be used for 1 (one) cruise.
