Abstract
Loading and discharge activities is one of the activities that support the smooth flow cargo a port. Loading and discharge activities has several processes such as: stevedoring, cargodoring, receiving, and delivery. Companies that perform loading and discharge activities required its part to facilitate the flow of cargo. Smooth flow of cargo can be achieved if the implementation of loading and discharge equipment are adequate. Meet with skilled human resources the purpose of this study to know how loading and discharge process on semen cargo on board KM. Bontang Pasifik. This study uses interview, field research, library research for collecting the data and uses descriptive methode to describe the data. The result of this study is KM. Bontang Pasifik had the standart operation procedure for loading and discharge, how ever the standart werenot always implemented. Keyword : Handling of loading and discharge, Cargo of cement, KM.
