Abstract
Ministry of Transportation of Jepara is an organization that gives services for transportation issues. According to Transportation of sea Ministry of Jepara in relation with public service is to improve urban transport servive given to the public. Based on result of research, it is acknowledge that Ministry of Transportation of Jepara plays three roles within public service improvement. Ministry of Transportation may act also works as regulator to make a policy a regulation concerning with sea transportation, can be a facilitator or institution which provides structure and infrastructure related to transportation of sea, and also works as evaluator to watch over every policy and each available structure and infrastructure. The improvement effort of public service can bring positive and negative responses. Therefore, the cooperation should be needed between the goverment and the public to improve service quality and know about problems in sea transportation sector. This papers give a special purpose to give viewers and knowledge excatcly how to know the problems especially for sea transportation to improve sea transport system in Karimunjawa.
