Abstract

There are many causes of shipwreck accidents, due to lack of officer understanding when making passage plans and use of navigation tools. Safety of shipping is a condition of the fulfillment of safety and security requirements relating to transport in waters, ports, and maritime environments.For the sake of smoothness of shipping activities, passage plan and understanding of the use of navigation equipment is the most important factor to ensure safety, safety, and smoothness in every voyage. Particularly in narrow cruise lines. Passage plans and the use of navigation tools are crucial in a narrow cruise line due to identifying potential problems or hazards along the route of shipping to be navigable. . The purpose of this paper is to find out the making of the passage plan, navigation equipment and the adverse weather effects on sail safety in regards to seafarers' abilities. At MT LEO ASPHALT 1 belongs to PT.Mitra Tanker Samudera and its effect on navigation safety on the narrow cruise line. The writing method of this paper include literature research studies and field research studies that use methods of observation and interviews.The work of writing on the passage plan and navigation equipment in MT. LEO ASPHALT 1 owned by PT.Mitra Tanker Samudera and the effect of weather on navigation safety on narrow cruise line is effective and optimal.
