Abstract

Ship waiting time is one issue that is always getting serious attention in every country. Marine transportation became the main made of transportation in trade. Nearly 90% of foreign trade is done by sea. Freight carried by sea to be very efficient due to higher passenger capacity and thus the role of the port as a place where ships can load and unload goods becomes very important in the use of facilities and infrastructure are adequate. If the port is less than optimal performance it will have a direct impact on the services that will cause new problems, namely the higher the skip waiting time, so it will lead to high costs, which have a direct impact to the price of goods on teh market. This research has objective to know analysis the influence of factor pilotage, loading and unloading productivity, and scheduling to the time waiting a vessel (case study on the PT.PELINDO III Semarang). The study is done at the Port of Tanjung Emas Semarang in the sample. The data collection done was done through a method of observation, the literature study, interview, documentation and the questionnaire. Technique the analysis used is linear regression multiple with program assistance SPSS V.21. Based on the results of research and analysis produced equation worship of idols: Y = 15,186 - 0,235 X1 – 0,160 X2 - 0,299 X3 - µ Shows that, based on fact the results of empirical (filling out the questionnaire) and the results of linear regression multiple shows that the variable pilotage (X1) has tcount of -3,918 and ttable -1,994 then as much as, H0 were rejected and Ha accepted. Variable loading and unloading productivity (X2) has tcount of -2,365 and ttable -1,994 then as much as, H0 were rejected and Ha accepted. Variable scheduling (X3) has tcount of -5,433 and ttable -1,994 then as much as, H0 were rejected and Ha accepted. This the research result show pilotage, loading and unloading productivity, and scheduling it has some positive impact and significantly to the time waiting a vessel in Port of Tanjung Emas Semarang.
