Abstract

Process of the Stage of King Arthur 8 Ship Docking At The Dockyard Janata Marina Indah (JMI) Semarang Docking process is an event where the ship from the sea to the mainland or the top of the dock with the help of docking support facilities. The main purpose of docking for all vessels is to carry out maintenance or repairs made to the ship to prevent damage and develop in good conditions. The purpose of this study is to find out what things must be prepared by King Arthur 8 and PT. Janata Marina Indah before carrying out the docking process and knowing the stages of implementation at the dockyard Janata Marina Indah Semarang. In this case the method of retrieving data is used by means of observations that occur in the field and documentation used to complete the research, both in the form of written sources, images (photos). The results of the study show that in the process of carrying out the docking of the King Arthur 8 vessel in accordance with the work procedures in the field from the steps dock space, repair list, calculation, pranegitation, contact, dock regulation, draft bill, and last final calculation. And also the process of repair stages can be carried out and in accordance with the docking procedure by PT. Janata Marina Indah Semarang. Keyword :Process, Stages, Implementation, Docking, Dockyard
