Abstract

Boiler is an equipment that is used to generate steam (vapor) in a variety of purposes. The water in the boiler heated by heat from the combustion of fuels (other heat source) resulting perpindahaan heat from the heat source to the Causes of water into hot water or transformed into steam. To safeguard and prevent damage to the boiler, should be done periodically checks on the boiler. In order not to turn into corrosion on pipes and fittings in ships using steam (steam) interrupt handling terjdi components and operating system boiler, must first know the causes of these disorders and care of the boiler is very important to avoid the corrosion of the pipe water or fire tube. By held a care in the boiler, the boiler will work with the maximum and the boiler will last longer its lifespan, the boiler will get the highest steam more leverage and fuel that they use the boiler will be more efficient and the boiler will work more efficiently its results will look after their the maintenance and components - components in the boiler will be better protected from corrosion.
