Abstract
Prevention of air pollution is one of the measures taken to reduce air pollution. Because the prevention of air pollution is very important so set in MARPOL 73/78 annex VI that has been changed on the protocol in 1997 in ANNEX VI on prevention of air pollution from ships. On the European continent already introduced regulations on the prevention of air pollution from ships. On 1 January 2015 has been effectively enacted regulations regarding Emission Control Area (ECA). In order to realize a good population growth and the air around the net, the European governments to impose such regulations. Currently Asian countries are also implementing the regulation.
