Abstract
Company value is used as a measure of the success of the company's management in the future prospects of operations so that it can realize the trust of the company's shareholders, because if the welfare of the shareholders is able to be fulfilled, then surely the condition reflects a high corporate value. Company value can be influenced by several factors including the debt to equity ratio, return on equity, firm size. The main purpose of this study is to determine the significance of the effect of debt to equity ratio, return on equity and firm size on price to book value. The population in this research are 35 transportation companies listed on the Stock Exchange until the end of the study period. After doing the sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. Obtained a total sample of 24 companies included in the research criteria. The data collection method used is the method of documentation and literature. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, the following multiple linear regression equations were obtained: Y = 12,474 + 0,212X1 + 0,247X2 - 0,191X3 + e. Where it is explained that the constant value of 12.447, DER has a positive effect and on PBV with regression coefficient value of 0.212. ROE has a positive effect and on PBV with regression coefficient of 0.247. And the firm size has a negative effect on PBV with a regression coefficient of -0.191. The test results partially show the influence between the independent variable DER, ROE and firm size on the PBV dependent variable. Keywords: PBV, DER, ROE, Firm Size, Transportation
