Abstract
OPTIMIZATION OF THE MAINTENANCE HATCH COVER TO FACILITATE THE PROCESS OF LOADING AND UNLOADING AT MV. PUSRI INDONESIAN 1 PT. PUPUK SRIWIDJAJA, PALEMBANG Hold the lid (hatch cover) is a means of the ship's amenities are very important. Hatch cover serves to close the hold space on a ship and protect content that is in it so that it is not damaged. The hatch cover need attention and care is reserved to support the Optimalization loading and unloading process. The working system of hatch cover type hydrolic is to drain the hydraulic oil from the tank using a pump shelter headed into iron pipes and hose hydrolic which then flows into the hydraulic motor that serves to open the hatch cover or close the hold. The condition of the hatch cover is good is determined by the process of treatment. Process good maintenance is the process of care in accordance with the procedures which have been planned and scheduled as well as sufficiently supply of spare parts on board. Lifting tools which will be used on the ship are planned on the basis of the load that will be adopted to determine the tools that will foster SOCIAL WELFARE LOTTERY in the plan. Each ship has a load of goods (cargo hold) that are complete with the CAP hold. This should hold the cap on construction made waterproof to protect the charge of there in room fit.
