Abstract
Operation And Maintenance Of Air Compressors In MT.SINAR EMAS PT.SAMUDERA INDONESIA JAKARTA Air compressor is one of the auxiliary aircraft on board or can also be interpreted air compressor is a tool to suck and collect air and then store it in a tube in which the air is in use to support the operation of the ship. Air compressor itself is widely used for services or support on board such as to start the main engine, generator, to sound horn warning alarm in engine room and horn ship when passing or passing by other vessels and so forth. The types of compressors in differentiate into 3 types of piston compressor (Reciprocating Compressor), rotary compressor (Rotary Compressor) and axial compressors.
