Abstract

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE TURBOCHARGER ARRANGED BY : Fajar Putra Ramadhan Nrp: 135120061 Turbocharger is a piece of equipment, to increase the amount of air enters the cylinder by harnessing the energy of the exhaust gas pressure. If previously relied on air intake vacuum formed because the piston movement in the intake stroke, then by air Turbocharger pressed into the cylinders using a compressor that is rotated by the exhaust gas turbine. So important role in supporting Turbocharger diesel engine performance, it is necessary to check and maintenance in order to stem fixed maximum engine performance. Some of the factors supporting the smooth operation of the turbocharger including treatment of lubricating oil, checking of leeway blades and machine performance.
