Abstract
Cargo Stripping rotary displacement pump is the pump displacement round which mainly caused by rotational movement of a gear between steam dynamic movement of pistons and piston pump with the power source coming from the steam produced by the boiler on board. With this method of fluid removal in limited quantities during movement of the piston. The volume of fluid that is transferred during a single step will be equal to the multiplication of the piston area of the piston by the piston step length. The operation, maintenance and troubleshoting of the stripping pump is carried out, among others: The operation of the stripping pump which includes the operation preparation procedure and the preparation of the pump pressure arrangement with the manual instruction of the book. Operation is not optimal due to lack of suction and pressure on the pump. The treatments include component maintenance, treatment planning, periodic maintenance and incidental care. The cause of the leakage of the connection flange on the pump steam pipe due to packing on the connection flange is damaged. As well as troubleshooting handling that is found include decreasing pressure and lack of suction at the pump and leakage on the flange of the steam pipe connection at the pump. After the operation is performed according to the procedure and the performance is not optimal then it is expected to keep the pump stripping pump work optimally, avoid decreasing pressure and lack of suction at the pump, avoiding the occurrence of heavier / greater damage. Then the result of the leakage of packing flans of the steam pipe connection at the pump can be carried out periodically so that no leakage occurs and the pump can work properly without any constraints. Then from the results of handling troubleshooting is to clean the dirt on the pipeline and filter / main filter cargo pump on a regular basis and do the replacement of packing with new.
