Abstract
Study of Care and Operation of Fuel Oil Purifier in Improving Fuel Quality Above Ship KMC. Express Bahari 9c PT. Sailing Sakti Inti Makmur Fuel Oil Purifier is one of the auxiliary engine that serves to clean fuel oil fuel from liquid or solid (mud). fuel oil purifier has an important role to produce clean fuel. The usefulness of this clean fuel is to support the operation of the host machine in producing the perfect and efficient combustion. In order to maintain the performance of the fuel oil purifier, it is necessary to do the operation and maintenance to prevent damage as well as how to analyze and handle the damage that occurs when fuel oil purifier work is not normal. The purpose of writing this scientific paper to discuss about fuel oil purifier in supporting the quality of fuel on the ship, it is necessary to do maintenance and operation for maximum performance of the parent machine. After regular treatment, the results obtained from this study indicate that no constraints occur that inhibit the stability and smoothness experienced by fuel oil purifier. It is also expected that the performance of the parent machine also remains stable and improves the quality of fuel on board, because regular maintenance is done routinely.
