REPAIR PROCEDURES MAIN ENGINE RELATED TO KN.KUMBA RUN AGROUND Prepared by : M. Adhika Irwanto NRP : 155320071 The Frequent occurrence of ship being aground, caused by natural factors or human error. Natural factor is strong current in the waters so that a ship is pushed or carried by current causing ship to be aground. Can also occur in conditions of waters that are in receding condition, but a ship still trying to enter the shipping path. As for the human error factor, because lack of calculation when entering the groove and the ability of human. For losses resulting from shipwreck, among others, the hull of the ship can be torn or perforated, there is damage to the propeller or engine that resulted in a permanent crash ship that automatically crew the ship is required to leave the ship, it could also happen the passenger transport in case the ship ran aground on passenger ships, damaged coral reefs can also occur due to exposed propeller rounds.
