Abstract

Piston is the engine components that make up the combustion chamber together with the cylinder block and cylinder head. The piston moves up and down to make the machine work cycle, and should be able to continue the power piston combustion products to the crankshaft. So we can see that the piston has a very important function in making the engine work cycle and combustion to produce power. Piston that serves as exploiters and pengkompresi mixture of fuel and pure air in diesel engines, as well as forming the combustion chamber. Piston power forward also the heat of combustion into mechanical energy to the crankshaft via the piston rod. Composer piston consists of a piston, piston rings, piston and piston rod pen. On the piston there is also a constituent such as compression ring grooves that are useful for placing a compression ring, oil ring grooves that serve to put the oil ring, piston pin hole that serves to put pen piston, piston ring lands as a barrier, and the skirt as a heat sink. Given the importance of the function of the piston in the main engine performance, the authors take the subject of the piston in the writing of this Scientific Writing. As for the things that are discussed in this chapter include Torak Composer Components / Piston, How it Works Torak / Piston, Torak Care / Piston and piston damage Trouble shooting / Piston Keywords: Compression, Combustion
