Abstract
MAINTENANCE OF CYLINDER LINER TO IMPROVEMENT MAIN ENGINE ON MV. DAHLIA MERAH PT. PELAYARAN INTI INTERNASIONAL Arranged by : Ahmad Firdaus Hidayatulloh 135120011 Cylinder liner is a machine component mounted on a cylinder block that serves as a piston and combustion chamber on an automotive engine. At the time of step compression and combustion will be produced high pressure and gas temperature, so as to prevent leakage of this compression then on the piston mounted ring to minimize the gap between the cylinder wall liner with piston. It is important to know what damage is happening to the liner cylinder. Know how to care for the right liner cylinder. What steps are taken when overhauling the liner cylinder to make the overhaul run smoothly. Knowing the cause of damage to the liner cylinder in order to know how to anticipate the damage, such as cylinder liner wear, cracked, and scratched. Can know how to care liner cylinder for liner cylinder can be used for long period of time.
