Abstract
Operation and Maintenance of Generators on KN.Kumba Ship The generator sets on board become the main power that is sufficient for the power supply on the vessel. KN Ship. Kumba is a State ship that has 2 generator that has a power of 185 HP each. The occurrence of oil droplets from the Auxialary Engine causes a short circuit. To get the best performance Generator must be ensured in good condition. The purpose of this paper is to know the application of generator application, understand the workings of the generator system and find a problem in the generator. After maintenance and repair The generator can operate properly with no short circuit, and Maximum power is 185 HP. Key words : Electric current, Generator, Maintenance
