Abstract
MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF AC CENTRAL ACCURATE FOR IMPROVING COMFORT ROOM IN SHIP KN.SAR SADEWA AC central is a room cooling system that is controlled from a single point or place and distributed centrally to the entire contents of the building with a capacity that corresponds to the size of the room and its contents by using air ducts / ducting ac. There is also a function of central air conditioning is to condition the air in a sense to obtain the air temperature in want cool or cool and comfortable for the body but it can also improve air quality and can reduce symptoms of asthma and allergies. (source. sejukabadi, 2016). In this study can be identified to be a focus of problems in cases one by one that is very closely related to each other. So it can be taken the formulation of problems or problems of operation in the central AC that often occurs leakage in the evaporator, the cause is less maintenance so dirty evaporator even mucus can make evaporator easily corrosion. In addition to leaks in the evaporator, the expansion valve is also an important and easily damaged component. The cause of damage to the expansion valve is the circulation of refrigerant blocked by moisture or impurities contained in the mouth of the expansion valve. Treatment on both components is essential to avoid damage. Periodic maintenance results at KN.SAR Sadewa show that by performing periodic maintenance can handle the evaporator leak and expansion valve so as to facilitate the operation of central air conditioner KN.SAR Sadewa. The purpose of the discussion of AC central in order to improve the comfort of accommodation space on ship KN.SAR Sadewa. With the resolution of existing problems in the handling of central air conditioning, it is expected to produce cool or cool air and can provide comfort accommodation space on ship KN.SAR Sadewa.
