Abstract
Overcom The Increasing Coolant Temperature of Fresh Water on The Main Engine KMP. NUSA JAYA ABADI In The Port of Nusa Penida Cooling water is very influential in the cooling system, because it serves to absorb heat from the engine to keep the engine working temperature. If there is a shortage of cooling water it will cause increased temperature in the engine because the heat absorption process is reduced, where the existing cooling water with heat received is not comparable so that heat will tend to rise as a result of the existing heat transfer will propagate from high temperature to temperature low. Lack of cooling water can be caused by expansion that occurs in cooling water while absorbing heat in the engine, leakage in the cooling system installation, and also due to the opening of taps that are not fully open so that the circulation of cooling water flowing in the system is reduced.
