Abstract

Employee performance is influenced by several factors including the effect of competence, Motivation and Work Environment. All three have an important role in improving employee performance. The purpose of this study was to determine whether three ia influence of competence, motivation and Work Environment to employee performance of Harbour Master and Port Autorithy Class I Tanjung Emas Semarang ofiice either partially. In this study, the population are the staff of Harbour Master and Port Autorithy Class I Tanjung Emas Semarang numbering 100 people. In this study expected to obtain a result which illustrates that employee performance is affected by the influence of competence, motivation and Work Environment. Based on the results of the analysis with the SPSS statistical tools Version 22, obtained equation of multiple regression model study as follows : Y= 0,719+ 0.305X1+0.283X2+0.331X3+ μ The results of multiple linear regression equation suggests that there is a positive influance and significant correlation between the influence of competence on employee performance ( t count = 3,701 > t table = 1,9847), the motivation to employee performance ( t count = 2,886 > t table = 1,9847), Work Environment to employee performance ( t count = 4,017 > t table = 1,9847),. The influence of these three variabels is very strong with the coefficient of determination ( R Adjusted Square ) were obtained for 64,6% of the performance of employees and 35,4 % are influence by variables that are not detected in this study.
