Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, motivation, and work discipline on the performance of employees of the Department of Transportation of Tegal Regency. This study explains the factors that affect employee performance. These factors are leadership, motivation, and discipline. The data used in this research is the primary data obtained from the questionnaires distributed by the employees of Tegal District Transportation Department. The object of this research was conducted at Tegal Regency Transportation Department. The population in this study are employees of the Department of Transportation Tegal District and sampling using Sampling Jenuh techniques that produce a sample amounted to 105 respondents. Data analysis techniques used to solve problem problems in this research is to use multiple linear regression analysis include: validity and reliability test, classical assumption test, hypothesis testing through t test, and coefficient of determination analysis (R2). Based on the analysis, we get the regression equation as follows: Y = -0,394+ 0,255X1+0,261X2+0,253X3+0,349X4+µ The testing of hypotheses use test t show thst all three variable free that in leadership (X1), motivation (X2), and dicipline (X3) subjects proven have had a positive impact and significant to affect variable bound namely traffic accident. In test the coefficients determination (R Square) the value adjusted R Square of 0,508 it means 50,8% variation variable Employee performance can be explained by independent variables leadership, motivation, and dicipline. While the rest those are 49,2% explained by the others out variable the treatment. Keywords: leadership, discipline, motivation and employee performance
