Abstract
ABSTRACT Analysis of the reason to crack happen on the cylinder linear of Auxiliary Engine This research is to intend for known the reason of imperfect smear in the cylinder linear wall on the ship and for the Engineer on board to prevent crack the cylinder linear as possible until the operation generator can do it according the procedure. The analys taken on SPOB MAHAKAM about 1 ( one ) year, from march until first of April 2018, source of data is used is date prime and skunder data, and the kuantitatif analysis has get by writer is use like kuantitatif analysis in the variable form in value of information come from on board SPOB MAHAKAM . Result has taken after the analysis show the first : Purpose the lubrication will get is characteristic material of oil lubrication should always care it or take attention one of the way for prevent the losen because movement of part whit part is not move, the second : have creak inside of cylinder linear because not prefix of lubrication in side of cylinder because have a problem in the lubrication system and third : Maintaince of lubrication system will prevent the creak at cylinder linear so will get the efficiency engine is maximum.
