Abstract
Responsibilities of Harbour Master To Ensure The Security and Safety of Voyage The purpose of this study is to find out how the responsibility of harbour master to ensure the security and safety of voyage and how harbour master task in order to improve the security and safety of voyage. Based on the use of literature research methods concluded that the responsibility of harbour master is very important because the security and safety of the voyage is already his duty. Actions taken are to enhance the security and safety control of matters relating to the voyage. The task of supervision by a harbour master in the framework of arranging facilities and infrastructure of sea transportation operations implementation is very important. Harbour master in duty must ensure awareness of the users of sea transportation services such as companies, ship owners, crew to obey the laws and regulations in accordance with the applicable laws in the field of shipping safety is generally still low. Key words : Safety of Voyage, security, Harbour master.
