Abstract
Abstract Machining Operation and Maintenance Helps Generators in State Ships. TRISULA in Tanjung Pinang Marine and Coast Guard (KPLP) The maintenance of the generator becomes an important factor in supporting the operation of the vessel. In this paper, the authors hope the readers, especially the engineers more understand about generator and generator components onboard to obtain objective data, the authors use data collection from observation, interviews, conducted on board ship TRISULA. In this paper the author discusses about the operation of the generator and generator maintenance. To operate of the generator there are same of problems such us high voltage, concleting, and unstability on the generator In this paper the author discusses the maintenance and operation of a generator on how to operate generators, maintenance of generators, daily and monthly maintenance on generators, steps for dismantling generators, how to deal with generator damage, type of interference in the generator and the cause, short circuit disturbances. Key word : Operation, Maintenance, Engine Assist Generator
