Abstract
HOW TO REFLECT THE MASTER MACHINE Lubrication system is a regular way of working between the main parts of lubrication with lubricating oil for lubrication. The lubrication system consists of two types, namely dry lubrication system and wet lubrication system. The lubrication system in the cadets vessel practices a type of dry lubrication system, namely a lubrication system where the oil tank is located outside the engine, so the crankcase room is always dry, the dry lubrication system consists of several parts, including pumps, filters, coolers and purifiers. The workings of the lubrication system start with the oil being lifted from the oil tank (charter), by an ornamental, from the oil pump which is moved by the rotation of the gear coupled with the crankshaft rotation, through the suction pipe. divider, then flow to a cooling medium, and arrive at the main engine. (W.J.S Poerwadaminta, 2010) In order to maintain the performance of the main engine, maintenance and checking of the lubrication system is necessary. Treatment includes: treatment of lubricating oils, treatment of lubricating oil coolers, and other treatments. After the treatment has been done, it is expected that the engine performance remains optimal because regular maintenance has been done. Key words : Oil, Oil Pump, Filter, Cooler, Purifier.
