Abstract

Employee Performance is influenced by several factors including Discipline, Communication, Competence and Leadership. Of the four, it has an important role in improving performance with satisfactory results. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of Discipline, Communication, Competence and Leadership on the Employee Performance of Semarang City Transportation Office Offices. In this study the population of the study were employees of the Semarang City Office of Transportation with sampling systems with a total of 100 respondents (samples). Variables in the study consisted of: Independent variables Discipline (X.1), Commuication (X.2), Competence (X, 3) and Leadership (X.4) and bound variables namely Employee Performance (Y). Data collection method used is by questionnaire method. The results of the analysis with the SPSS V.24 program statistics tool obtained multiple linear regression equation Y = 0.369 + 0.183X1 + 0.195X2 + 0.285X3 + 0.248X4 + µ. The results of multiple linear equations show that there is a positive and significant influence between Discipline on employee performance (t count 2.767> t table of 1,98498), Communication to employee performance (t count 2.559> t table of 1,98498), Competence on employee performance (t count 4.011> table of 1,98498), Leadership for employee performance (t count 2.950> t table of 1,98498), individually discipline, communication, competence and leadership influence employee performance. The influence of the four research variables is very strong with the coefficient (Adjusted R Square) obtained at 52.6% on employee performance and 47.4% influenced by variables not detected in this study.
