Abstract

An anchor is a ship fastening device to the bottom of the water, on the sea, river or lake so that the ship cannot move due to gusts of wind, currents or waves. Anchor is one of the mandatory tools on board considering its function as a tool to hold the ship motion and remain in his position. If the chain stopper is not installed, the anchor machine must be able to withstand pulling with a breaking load of 80% of the chain breaking load with no deformation on the equipment also slip on the braking system.
