Abstract
Analysis Of Causes Of Over Flow In Fuel Oil Purifier Motor Boat Dharma Kartika IX PT. Dharma Lautan Utama Fuel Oil purifier on the ship is one of the auxiliary machines that have a very important role to produce clean fuel. The usefulness of this clean fuel is to support the operation of the main engine to produce perfect combustion, therefore the fuel oil purifier must be in a ready to use condition.Besed on the description above can be formulated a problem, among other the occurrence of deadlock on the scruw with nozzle resulting in over flow in the fuel oil purifier. And know what factors cause damage to the main seal ring .Thefore the outhore made direc observations and interviews while carrying out virgin practices at PT. Dharma Lautan Utama. In the ritting of this paper it can be conclude that the bundle is complete with the nozzle due the cedimentation of water containing cedimentary subtances and incurrect installation factor and age of the main seal ring. Therefore, maintenance of purifier components in accordance with the manual is the right step to improve the performance of the purifiers that are on board for smooth operations.
