Abstract
Windlass Maintenance System to Optimize Long Term Use in TB. Patra Tunda 4201 PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental The anchor machine is an anchor crane engine system installed in the ship for the purpose of lifting and lowering the anchor along with the anchor chain through a hawse pipe. The main uses of the anchor machine are as a connector or towing chain and anchor. Damage that occurs when using the Anchor Machine is one of the obstacles that is very often experienced on board. The damage is caused by ingestion of age, usage factors and errors in operation. From these problems to minimize damage and make use of the Anchor Machine can be optimized as long as possible so this paper is made with the aim of knowing how to operate the Anchor Machine, can perform maintenance on the Anchor Machine and can find out the damage that is often experienced by the Anchor Machine. By achieving the objectives of the paper it will minimize the damage that is often experienced by the Anchor Machine and also the performance of the Anchor Machine will be more optimal as well as the age of the Anchor Machine can also be optimized for longer.
