Abstract
Maintenance Marchine And Operation (Refrigerator) To Maximize Fish To Keep It Fresh In KMN.Putra Jaya Mandiri Refrigerator is one of auxiliary machinery that used for replacing heat from a room to environtment so that room temperature can be lower than environment and can generating low temperature. Maintenance and operation of refrigerator is purposed to maximize fishes can stay fresh. If the fishes is kept the fresh so it will increase market value and keep quality of catched fishes by the ship. This case will build trustiness of consumen to the seller so the catched fishes will be guaranteed the quality. Manitenances that shall carried out on ship refrigerator are check the lube oil and freon level, check the condensor, check the leakage on piping system, check the control devices like manometer and thermometer, check and clean the compressor valves, check all part of refrigerator that can identified from outside. By doing maintenance like this routinely, the cooling engine performance is functioning optimally, can be seen from the hatch / storage room temperature of -14 ° C so that the fish is kept fresh.
