Abstract

Operation and Maintenance of Crane Hydraulic Engine As an Effort to Streamline the Loading and Unloading Process in the MV. Shirley PT. Nusantara Panurjwan Shipping Company Crane is a deck machine on board which functions to move a container from the terminal to the ship or vice versa which is driven by a hydraulic engine. Crane works by lifting heavy loads using a small drive with media High-pressure hydraulic oil. Operation and maintenance of hydraulic drive cranes must be carried out in accordance with established procedures. This aims to maintain the performance of the hydraulic drive cranes engine to work optimally and prevent damage that can occur at any time. Maintenance of components in the crane unit is also an important thing that must be done to make the work and the lifetime of the unit maximal The implementation of crane maintenance will require analysis before the damage is there to solve the existing problem. The results show that the treatment carried out includes daily maintenance, weekly maintenance, maintenance and maintenance three months per year to prevent damage to the Crane Engine unit and knowledge of maintenance to make the analysis process and do trouble shooting that can be done.
