Abstract
Effort for Increasing Maintenance of Fuel Injection to Keep on Performanc e of Main Engine km dharma kencana PT Dok dan Perkapalan Surabaya Injection of fuel oil is a beginning process of fuel combustion in the cylinder. The quality of duel injection depend on the injector. With the correct timing and speed of injection will increase the completeness of combustion in the cylinder The important stuff should be have more caution like the common broken problem that often occur in the injection system of fuel that are the accuration of timing and injection speed when in compression, injector condition and the working hours. However maintenance on the injector periodically is very important to carried out in effort to increase the grade of the fuel combustion completeness on board. There is injector maintenance by overhaul. Injector should be cleaned periodically which usually carried out after working hours has reached the limit. Key words : Compression, Cylinder
