Abstract

MAINTENANCE OF INJECTOR TO SUPPORT MAIN ENGINE OPRATION ON THE TEK GLORY 1 AT PT. BAHTERA SUMBER UTAMA ABADI JAKARTA Injector is one of the main components in the diesel engine fuel system. The injector serves to deliver diesel fuel from the injection pump into the cylinder at each compression step where the torsk/ piston approaches the TDP (Top Dead Point) point. The injector is designed to receive fuel pressure from a high-pressure injection pump to from a pressurized fog, this pressure resulting in an internal combution cylinder.injector pressure at KM. Tek Glory 1 for main engine 330 kg/cm2. The injector serves to dislodge the fuel into the cylinder at the end of the compression step when the piston is at 10˚ before TDP (Top Dead Point) to 12˚ after TDP (Top Dead Point) at this (injector part) spray fuel in the from of perfect mist continously and regularly according to valve mechanism. Very important and play a big role in supporting the performance of the parent machine.routine maintenance will support the performance of the machine. So the performance of the injector becomes optimal in generating the perfect combution for the combution proccess.
