Abstract

The development of engine technology of the main engine to the application of pressurized air technology is by pressing the piston through the start air valve for the engine to spin and can rotate independently. Pressure for air bottle is in the range of 25-30 bar and can be used for six engine start, air bottle filling using manual or automatic adjustable air compressor as needed, for other purposes the pressurized air will be reduced at reduction station according to need pressure required. The effect of disturbance on the operation of the walker air system may cause the machine to not be turned on, especially in the starting air valve, often the valve congestion due to impurities from the burning ash. Regular maintenance should be routinely performed in accordance with the recommended manual or if there is damage to the air system and its components. To optimize the smoothness in the operation of starting air must be available spare parts that are always ready to use if at any time there is interference on the component. Optimizing air travel is not as easy as imagined, periodic maintenance, based on the results of periodic maintenance implementation (PMS) on the walker air system can extend the life of the air system and minimize damage to components in the system, such as the frequent water starting valve damage or to the air jar (main air receiver) which must be split every 24 hours to dispose of water and other dirt.
