Abstract
Welding Process of Pipe and Sea Chest Valve on Tetra Sentosa Motor Ships Welding is an integral part of industrial growth because it plays a major role in the engineering and repair of metal production. It is almost impossible to build a factory without involving welding elements. Therefore, based on this description, in the preparation of this paper, the title of the Process of Welding Pipes and Valves of Sea chest on Tetra Sentosa Motor Ships is taken. Welding using acetylene gas and electrodes is a type of welding that is the subject of research on this paper. In the preparation of this paper, using a qualitative method where the research is carried out directly when carrying out the practice of sailing on a ship. The conclusion obtained in the discussion of this paper is that in the process of welding sea chest and valve sea chest pipes to the engine room of the vessel using the type of welding using asitelin gas and electrodes, then for the welding work process to take place the worker must use self-protection equipment for the safety of welding.
